Aled Edwards, FIA
Partner
A qualified actuary since 2008, Aled currently holds Scheme Actuary appointments for several clients and is the Firm’s Head of Actuarial Strategy. Aled is responsible for maintaining and developing the Firm’s actuarial service offering and providing internal technical training.
Amanda Burdge, FPMI
Partner
Amanda leads Quantum’s investment and risk transfer teams, ensuring Quantum continues to deliver innovative and proactive advice. Amanda has over 25 years’ experience of working on a range of clients of different sizes and complexities.
Andrew Reid-Jones
Partner
Andrew has experience advising both DB & DC schemes on legislative, design and communication issues, working with trustees, sponsors and other stakeholders to optimise solutions. He chairs Quantum’s Operations Team and is responsible for Regulatory Compliance.
Chris Heirene
Partner
Chris oversees Quantum’s IT systems, including our online portals, and has responsibility for Information Security throughout the firm. He sits on the Operations Team and is involved in utilising IT to improve the processes throughout Quantum via our robotic automation initiative.
Darren Wateridge

Darren joined the Firm in 2013 and has over 25 years’ experience in the industry. Darren is Scheme Actuary to a number of schemes and advises trustees and companies on a wide range of issues including scheme funding, company accounting, benefit changes and derisking strategies.
Graham Yearsley
Principal Consultant
Graham heads up Quantum’s employee benefits and wellbeing proposition and is a principle adviser on the development and delivery of large employee benefits, focusing his expertise on risks in the UK and internationally. He has also cultivated strong working relationships with key employee benefit providers, facilitating the delivery of the best possible outcomes for clients.
Jemma Jurgensen

Jemma is committed to delivering a first-rate administration service. She has developed an administration strategy that sees Quantum put the member experience front and centre and works with Partners guiding schemes through the PPF assessment period following an employer insolvency event.
Joanne Eynon, FIA
Partner
Joanne advises trustees on their DB or Hybrid pension arrangements and is Scheme Actuary to some of Quantum’s larger pension schemes. She also oversees the delivery of our specialist actuarial and administration services for schemes in the PPF assessment period.
Julian Fox

Julian is uniquely qualified to assist trustees with the governance and administration of DB or Hybrid pension arrangements. This includes overseeing the effective provision of all services, discussing technical or legislative developments with scheme stakeholders and trustees and providing the necessary support.
Karen Kendall, FPMI
Partner
As a Client Manager, Karen’s work involves the co-ordination and delivery of strategic advice for a number of clients. She is Scheme Secretary for six trustee boards, with a strong interest in improving scheme governance.

Paul’s experience spans the full range of institutional investment services, including investment strategy, fund manager selection and fiduciary management. He has been CIO and adviser to a broad selection of pension funds, including some of the largest UK schemes.
Phil Farrell, FPMI
Partner
Phil joined Quantum in 2010 and has over 34 years’ pensions experience spanning administration, consultancy and secretariat services. He oversees the delivery of proactive and pragmatic consultancy and secretarial services for Quantum’s trust-based and contract-based pension clients.
Rhidian Williams, FIA
Partner
Rhidian leads Quantum’s actuarial governance team. His expertise includes setting scheme funding strategies, employer and trustee negotiations and linking actuarial funding with investment strategy. Rhidian has advised trustees through many actuarial valuations, and subsequent funding negotiations, pension scheme design projects and accounting projects.
Robert Palmer, FIA

Head of our Birmingham team, Robert is experienced in pension scheme redesign projects, sales acquisition and accounting projects. He strives to provide clients with proactive and pragmatic solutions-based advice. He is a member of the Association of Consulting Actuaries.
Simon Hubbard. FIA
Principal Consultant
Simon sits on the risk transfer team, managing projects and working with major insurers to track market prices and sentiment. He is Scheme Actuary to a number of pension schemes and part of Quantum’s DB Strategy Group which assists with the development of in-house actuarial models.
Stuart Price, FIA
Partner
Stuart is a qualified Actuary and leads the Firm’s corporate services offering which includes providing all types of advice to employers of Defined Benefit multi-employer schemes such as the LGPS, SHPS and TPS. He also helps charities with their auto-enrolment obligations.
Suzy Lloyd, FCA, FCMI
Financial Controller
Suzy oversees our finance department which includes pension scheme bank account management, pension scheme financial statements, pensioner payrolls and the Firm’s internal accounts. She is a Fellowship member of the ICAEW, and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
